Awards and Recent Customer Wins Solidify Array’s Leadership in the Expanding Chinese Security Market

Milpitas, California, June 21, 2005 - Array Networks, the technology leader in Application Networking, today announced that two major trade publications in China have honored the company's new SPX5000 Enterprise SSL VPN with industry awards that reflect this product's exceptional performance and security. These awards, along with recent major customer wins, further validate Array's market dominance for secure remote access appliances in China.

China Network World announced June 6, 2005 that Array’s SPX5000 won the sole “Clear Choice for Best SSL VPN” prize awarded by the publication’s test and evaluation laboratory. The SPX5000 captured the China Network World award based on an open comparative test. The publication reports that Array’s SPX5000 was the only SSL VPN appliance that met the test criteria. “The Array SPX5000 easily satisfies the top enterprise-level application requirements for maximum concurrent connection capacity, SSL transactions per second, and throughput. The Array SPX5000 demonstrated its undoubted superiority in product performance, functionality and security.”

Array was also selected from more than 50 companies to receive the “Outstanding Solution in Information Security” Award from the 2005 China Information Security Annual Conference, sponsored by China ComputerWorld. Both awards were announced in Beijing during the first week of June.

The SPX5000 SSL VPN appliance made its debut at Interop, Las Vegas in May of 2005.
